“Organized snow squalls are expected to start this morning and continue into Tuesday for some areas. Gusty winds could also lead to local blowing snow with significantly reduced visibilities. Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous due to reduced visibility. Road closures are possible.”
