Despite the snow, snowmobilers are being reminded to stay off local trails.
They are not yet open.
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club is working on trails but the snow base is not deep enough.
Once there is thicker layer, the OFSC will light up the trails in GREEN on their Interactive Trail Guide..
Currently the only trails that are NOT RED or OFF LIMITS are near Midland, Sault Ste. Marie and North of Timmins in the Hearst area.
