A speed enforcement camera in the Town of Innisfil has been turned on.
Following testing and the mandatory 90-day notice period in which “coming soon” signs were posted, the camera was activated Tuesday (nov12).
The camera is located on Jans Boulevard, near Nantyr Shores Secondary School.
New signage is up letting drivers know the camera is in use.
If you exceed the posted speed limit and a photo is snapped of your vehicle, the ticket will go to registered owner.
The Town of Innisfil is using one camera that will rotate through select community safety zones every few months.
