If you have not already donated it to a local nature or wildlife preserve or have no plans to toss it to the curb…
You can burn it!
The Alliston Rotary Club is hosting their annual 12th Night Bonfire and they need your tree for the January 6th (Saturday) event to be a success.
Residents are encouraged to drop them off at Riverdale Park in Alliston.
Volunteers will stack them up and the New Tecumseth Fire Department will light them a-blaze at 6:30.
Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be available… free of charge to those attending.
Approximately 400 people showed up for last years event.
