23 people are facing a combined total of 387 charges following an investigation led by the OPP.
Project MOFFATT began in April, when investigators began trailing 3 distinct groups trafficking drugs and firearms in the GTA and throughout Central and Northeastern Ontario.
14 searches took place over July 18 and 19 in Toronto, Vaughan, Barrie, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, North Bay, Engelhart and Pickering.
Police also searched the Maplehurst Correctional Complex and the Collins Bay Federal Institution.
Investigators have seized 29 firearms, 12 kilograms of fentanyl, over 25 kilograms of cocaine, five kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, over 260,000 methamphetamine tablets almost $300,00 in Canadian currency and just over $1500 in US currency.
Police also discovered 10 vehicles.
The total street value of the drugs and firearms seized is over $8 million.
