The dog days of summer are going be wet in the Town of Innisfil.
Following last summers pilot project, a new permanent dog-friendly beach opened Friday (jun16) at Innisfil’s Beach 6.
The new beach area is fully fenced in, it includes doggy bag stations and garbage cans.
Dog owners are asked to be responsible and respectful while visiting the park.
Enforcement staff will be monitoring the parks to ensure dogs are leashed when outside the designated Beach 6 area.
The new beach is open seven days a week during park hours.
