The Coldest Night of the Year is an annual family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
On February 25th, locations participating across Canada will complete a 2km or 5km walk with specific routes, rest stops, volunteers, and snacks at the end.
Here in Alliston, Participants will be running for S.H.I.F.T.
S.H.I.F.T (Support and Hope for Individuals and Families Today) provides safe, respectful, and welcoming emergency overnight accommodation, meals and supports to those experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness and/or food insecurity in South Simcoe.
