In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, financial hardships are being felt by many throughout the community.
Non-profit groups are no different.
The Town of Innisfil is offering a much needed financial boost through their Innisfil Community Foundation.
Jenn Rae is the Fundraising Coordinator.
She says $50,000 has been made available to the town through the Ontario Lottery Gaming Association.
Rae says the application process is a simple one, the one main sticking point is that all applicants have a charitable registration number.
She says once the money is handed out, they leave it up to the organization to use it as they see fit.
