The Family Day holiday means the usual round of long weekend business and service closures
Monday (feb 17) is a provincial holiday so those who work for the federal government will be on the job.
That includes the Post Office.
However, provincial and municipal government offices will be closed.
Schools, the Beer Store and LCBO Outlets, banks, some grocery and drugs stores will be closed, as well.
There will be regular garbage collection.
There will be no Simcoe County Linx transit service through Angus and GO Transit will run on a Saturday schedule.
