Sue Sgambati is a graduate of Ryerson’s Radio and Television Arts program.
She has spent more than 30 years in the journalism field, including radio, television, print and online.
She currently holds the title of the first Civilian Corporate Communications Specialist for the South Simcoe Police Service.
During her journalism career, Sue covered many high-profile stories including that of killer Robert Pickton in British Columbia, the murder of 8 year-old Tori Stafford and the arrest of serial killer Paul Bernardo and ex-wife Karla Homolka.
Along the way, she has picked up a number of awards for her work, including the Radio and Television News Director’s Award for her coverage of the Bernardo trial. She has also received several awards for police reporting from various GTA police services.
Now, Sue is focusing on her communications career with South Simcoe Police. She initially got her start after her mother pushed her to Journalism.
