Honda Canada has confirmed its Alliston plant will continue operating at full capacity.
The news comes after a Japanese news outlet report suggesting the company may shift more production to the U.S. to avoid tariffs.
The automaker says no changes are planned at this time, though it regularly reviews production strategies.
Rising demand in Canada is helping keep local operations strong, with the Alliston-built Honda Civic and CR-V remaining top sellers nationwide.
The update comes after a Japanese news outlet reported Honda was considering the possibility of relocating some vehicle production from Canada and Mexico, to the United States.
