In response to the significant damage caused by the recent ice storm, the County of Simcoe is offering free brush debris disposal at waste drop-off sites until April 5th.
All regular waste facilities will operate during their usual hours, though some may operate without power and may only accept cash transactions.
Starting April 14th, leaf and yard waste trucks will collect bundled brush, not in bags, until April 25th, with curbside collection occurring bi-weekly.
Residents are asked to place their brush at the curb by 7 a.m. on Mondays during their garbage week.
Brush that is not properly bundled or exceeds size limits will not be collected curbside, but can still be dropped off at County waste facilities.
