After being opened for 29 official days, and two months total, the County of Simcoe skate trail has officially closed for the year.
Over it’s time open this past season, 6,195 skaters took in the trail, making it the busiest year to date.
Each winter, you can find the trail at the Simcoe County Museum, located at 1151 ON-26 in Minesing. It spanned over one kilometre through the museum grounds and surrounding forest.
We’ll keep you updated for when it opens next winter.
