Two trucks were stolen from homes in Alliston this week, raising the number of stolen trucks in the area to nine in less than two months.
Early Wednesday morning, Nottawasaga OPP responded to a call from a homeowner on Walnut Street, who reported hearing their 2023 white Toyota Tundra start up and drive away southbound.
Less than two hours later, police were called to Gordon Drive in the north end where a black 2024 Toyota Tundra had also been stolen.
Witnesses reported seeing two suspect vehicles— a dark grey European model SUV and a white Mercedes SUV— with one suspect driving and another as a passenger.
The OPP were unable to locate the suspects.
