The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating the E. coli outbreak in carrots…in the U.S.
39 people have been hospitalized and one person has died.
The recalled products were shipped to retail distribution centers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Several brands of organic whole-bagged carrots and baby carrots, including President’s Choice and Compliments, are sold in Canada at Sobeys, Whole Foods, and Loblaw-owned stores, Bunny-Luv and Cal-Organic brands are also included in recall.
It is recommended you throw away the produce or return it.
