The Military will be holding up traffic next week as more airplanes make their way to Base Borden.
The CT-155 Hawk jet training aircraft were recently decommissioned as a training aircraft for fighter pilots.
However, they will be used for maintenance training at the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering, on Base Borden.
The first group of 10 jets made their way to the base in late March.
An additional 3 jets will be headed to the base during the overnight hours on Monday and Tuesday (jun3-4).
The airplanes will leave the Collingwood Airport and be towed behind trucks to Borden… The base in Angus is not equipped with a landing strip, therefore the jets cannot land in that location.
