A hold and secure was placed on an elementary school in Alliston late Tuesday (nov7) morning.
Parents were informed by school staff that a threatening message was sent via voicemail to Alliston Union Public School (211 Church St. N.).
Nottawasaga OPP began an investigation and determined there was no threat to public safety.
The hold and secure was lifted just before the noon-hour.
No other details have been released.
