One of the top complaints received by hospital staff is about the lack of parking.
Stevenson Memorial Hospital CEO and president Jody Levac appeared at the July 10th New Tecumseth Council meeting to make a request for additional space.
Levac asked if the Town would consider donating the land next to the health centre, as it could be redeveloped into 60 or 70 new parking spaces.
The land in question is located on Fletcher Crescent next to the Rotary Adventure Playground.
Town Staff has been asked to bring a report back to the July 24 meeting for further consideration.
