Twelve police officers have just joined OPP detachments in the Central Region.
The officers come with 130 years of combined policing experience from various police services across Canada.
The officers graduated from the General Headquarters in Orillia last week.
They will now be taking up their posts, including 4 officers at the Nottawasaga Detachment in Alliston.
The experienced officers have been deployed to the following detachments:
· Bracebridge – 1 officer
· City of Kawartha Lakes – 2 officers
· Northumberland – 2 officers
· Nottawasaga – 4 officers
· Orillia – 2 officers
· Peterborough County – 1 officer
