The FM92 Pet of the Week is back!
Every Thursday we will showcase a pet currently being cared for at the Alliston & District Humane Society.
Meet Riley! The American Bulldog.
We spoke with Gladys Miu, a volunteer at the Alliston & District Humane Society more about the Big Ol’ Puppy!
As mentioned above,
Riley is a beautiful American Bulldog who is almost 2 years old and is a Big Ol’ puppy!
Riley is a friendly dog who makes friends with everyone he meets immediately!
This big, sweet guy walks well on the leash and knows his basic commands such as sit and shake a paw.
Although Riley is approaching 2, this guy is still a really big puppy and would benefit from a home where he can continue his training. Riley appears to be friendly with other dogs.
Riley has an condition in his eyes called an Entropion, which causes the eye lashes to scratch the eye with every blink.
This condition requires a surgery to fix and Riley is hoping to find a comfy foster home where he can have his eye surgery, be administered eye drops while he recovers from his surgery and settle into his forever home!
Riley will also be neutered when he has his eye surgery.
He is very a friendly and outgoing dog; however, Riley is not suited to a home with small children.
If you are interested in opening your home to Riley as a foster to adopt or foster home, please fill out an application online,
