I continue to be a leader who runs on a platform of vision, commitment to community, character, respect, civility.
I have a proven track record that I will continue and that is to be “The Voice of the People” in order to get things done.
I have an expectation that council and staff representing the community act with a high level of integrity and anything else
is unacceptable.
With all this in mind it comes down to “Communication”, ensuring that council, staff, provide accessible and engaged communication to the community on an ongoing basis.
We need to do better and that continues to be my commitment to ensure this happens as your deputy mayor.
The great divide! North vs South — this continues to be a challenge and one that proves to play out at the council table.
Working together with the community residents on solution-based initiatives such as round table discussions, dept. open houses with staff all contribute to ongoing communication, collaboration and advancement of community initiatives.
We all win as we work together as a community!!!
When I win, I will be thanking Adjala-Tosorontio residents for casting their vote and allowing me the honor and privilege of serving them over the next four years to cultivate an environment of collaboration, cooperation and sensible, sustainable decision making for our community and its future.
