Long time Orangeville resident and current member of Orangeville Council, Debbie Sherwood will seek re-election as Councillor in the October 24th Municipal Election.
Debbie was elected in 2018 and is proud of what this Council has been able to accomplish despite navigating through a 2+ year global pandemic.
She brings knowledge as a retired Deputy-Treasurer/Tax Collector with over 35 years of Municipal Finance experience.
Debbie Sherwood has had the privilege of serving on Heritage Orangeville as Chair where her role was to protect and promote cultural heritage resources that make our community unique and a sustainable place to live.
Debbie also served as the Council appointed member on the BIA Board where the goal is to oversee the improvement, beautification and maintenance of municipally owned land, buildings and structures in the business improvement area.
FM101 spoke with Debbie, to learn more about the vision for the future in Orangeville, and what our community can expect from her if re-elected.
