Beginning Monday (apr 19) Base Borden will be conducting controlled detonations.
Soldiers from the Logistics Training Centre Ammunition Technical Officer Course will deploying upwards of 20 blasts per day until June 1.
They’ll go off between 8am and 5pm weekdays.
They are disposing of misfired, dud or obsolete ammunition.
Safety precautions will be taken and at no time will the public be in any danger.
