The debate over the new Administration Centre in New Tecumseth appears to have come to an end.
Council voted 6-4 in favour of using the old Alliston Union Public School at Tuesday’s (nov 17) budget working session.
The project passed when Ward 2 Councillor Michael Beattie moved his vote from nay to yea.
Beattie says he didn’t flip but felt it was simply decision time.
He explains how the town will pay for the move…
He also wanted to clarify some of the financial questions which have arisen.
The old school was purchased back in the summer of 2016 and the debate on it’s use has raged through the first half of the current term of council.
