A ceremony held on Canadian Forces Base Borden saw a change in leadership.
Outgoing Commander, Brigadier-General, Andrew Atherton has been appointed to as the Director General of Professional Military Conduct in Ottawa.
Colonel Dan Riviere assumed the command Wednesday (sept2) morning during a ceremony.
Colonel Riviere is a logistics officer and has served on numerous overseas tours, including deployments to Haiti, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Afghanistan.
Brigadier-General, Atherton, has been leading the Military Personnel on Base Borden since March of 2018.
