Paul Lynch is potato farmer who owns and runs Leach-Lynch Farms on 10th Line in Alliston.
Paul, says he developed his interest in farming from his grandparents.
Both sets owned farms in the area.
Paul says his parents left the farming business behind but he decided to pick it up again, merging both farms to create his own.
The weather is something everyone complains about but Paul says it makes his job more interesting because no two days are the same.
Paul’s significant other helps out on the farm during the busy season along with his younger brother and his parents.
He says large corporations are making it hard for the small family farm to stay in business but for now he says he will continue working the land.
