There may be a little less traffic these days but that doesn’t mean that anything goes.
Nottawasaga OPP laid five stunt driving charges in a 48 hour period this week.
On Tuesday (may 5), a 27-year-old Tottenham man was charged for traveling 121 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone on Tottenham Road and then a 19-year-old man from Grey Highlands was clocked at 137 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone on County Road 90 in Essa.
On Wednesday (may 6), 20-year-old man from Tottenham was ticketed for doing 115 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone on the 5th Line in Penville and a 56-year-old man on a motorcycle was charged doing 111 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Mill Street in Angus.
Finally, on Thursday morning (may 7) and a 23-year-old Alliston man was clocked doing 124 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on County Road 50 in Adjala-Tosorontio.
They were all hit with a seven day vehicle impoundment and a weeks licence suspension.
