The province is investing in community policing
Queen’s Park says it has $181 million to spend over the next three year to support local projects and another $14 million for province-wide initiatives.
Nottawasaga OPP will receive $236,250 of that for their community mobilization and engagement unit
That includes Nottawasaga OPP’s ‘Stronger Together’ program which includes a mental-health support team and addressing mental-health and youth issues.
