Unifor has left Alliston.
The union had opened a store front on Victoria St in October 2017.
At the time Canada’s largest trade union said much of their work in Alliston would “…be focused on helping Honda workers join Unifor.”
They added the office would also be open to workers from any local workplaces considering unionization.
myFM put out several calls to Unifor and while they would confirm the office had closed no reason for packing up was given.
